Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: April 01, 2026

At GoodShift Private Limited, we take pride in delivering top-tier IT products, web solutions, and custom applications aligned exactly with our clients' business needs. Because of the bespoke nature of our high-performance IT services, our refund policy reflects the extensive initial effort required to evaluate, architect, and begin development of your solution.

1. General Refund Policy: Strict No-Refund Basis

All services offered by GoodShift Private Limited—including IT consultation, web development, app development, and branding—are strictly non-refundable once an agreement is active and a deposit has been made.

Why We Maintain a No-Refund Policy: Our process begins the moment a project is initiated. We invest significant time, manpower, and intellectual capital into deeply analyzing your business requirements, brainstorming structural solutions, evaluating tech stacks, and preparing the comprehensive system architecture. The upfront costs and time incurred in these initial scoping, wireframing, and architectural phases mean that the value of the service is already being delivered, making refunds unfeasible.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may request to cancel or hold a project if circumstances change on your end. The following rules govern cancellation:

  • If a project is cancelled by the client after the initial deposit is paid but before coding has begun, the deposit is forfeited entirely to cover the already-completed business analysis and architectural planning.
  • If a project is cancelled during the development phase, you remain liable for any staged milestone payments corresponding to work executed up to the date of cancellation.
  • No future milestone invoices will be generated post-cancellation, but any delivered code or resources corresponding to paid milestones remain GoodShift's property until full settlement.

3. Support and Remedies

While we do not offer monetary refunds, we are fully committed to client satisfaction. If a deliverable fails to match the agreed-upon Scope of Work (SOW), GoodShift will dedicate resources to correct the discrepancies and ensure the software performs as architected, entirely at our own expense.

4. Scope Creep and Modifications

Any requests outside the original project scope do not retroactively qualify original deposits or milestones for refund consideration. New requirements will simply be billed as addendums.

5. Consumer Products

For any digital products, templates, or self-serve software sold directly to consumers on a subscription basis, all sales are final upon digital fulfillment due to the irrevocable nature of digital goods. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to prevent future billing, but no prorated refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle.
