Shift Consulting is a division of GoodShift Private Limited, operating under the same company, the same GSTIN and the same registered office. It has its own site at shiftconsulting.in.
We built the interview software first. The consultancy came out of using it.
Building CypherMeet's interviewer tools meant spending a long time on a question nobody had answered well: what does it actually take to assess someone fairly in an hour? Structured questions, consistent scoring, a record of what was covered and where they struggled.
Once we had that working, the gap in recruitment became obvious. Most agencies forward a CV and a phone-call impression. We can forward a CV and the evidence.

Not just the job title — the stack, the seniority, the team, and what would actually make someone fail in the seat. Shortlists stay short because the brief is specific.

We find candidates and do the first filter ourselves, so you are not reading fifty CVs to find three worth a conversation.

Every candidate is interviewed on CypherMeet
A structured, scored technical interview — the same rubric for every candidate for the role, with an optional live coding round and environment integrity checks.

You get the CV and the report together
Topics covered, correctness, how they handled difficulty, and where they were weak. You decide from evidence rather than from our opinion of them.
How we intend to operate.
Shift Consulting is new. We would rather tell you exactly how we work than imply a track record we have not built yet.
The client pays, never the candidate
Our fee comes from the hiring company. We will not charge a job-seeker a registration fee, a placement fee, or anything else. If anyone asks you for money in our name, it is not us.
The report goes to the candidate too
If you sit a CypherMeet interview through us, you can see how you did. An assessment you cannot see is not feedback, it is just a gate.
Consent before any monitoring
Interview integrity checks are opt-in, explained on a consent screen before anything starts, and limited to the environment — we do not record candidates covertly.

Technology consulting
The same team that built and runs our products is available for technology consulting — architecture reviews, mobile and backend engineering, and help getting a product from specification to something that actually ships.
We take a small number of engagements at a time, because the products come first.
